I liked the contrast of defined and undefined in this painting,
some aspect of solidity contrasting with air and light.
An “organic” rock with as much fluid as solid.

It may have failed as a rock, but it succeeded quite admirably as a painting! I too like the simultaneous sense of solidity and transparency in this piece. (How’d you do that??)
