Marc, this show looks great! Where is it? Wish I could see it in person. Wish the photos would enlarge so I could see more detail.
It looks like you “framed” these canvases by mounting them on–what–2 x 4 frameworks? Whatever you did, it looks really good. I like the mass and object quality it imparts–entirely appropriate for the paintings, with their slab-like planes of paint and stylized painted boards.
Great to see the pic of you and Helena, too.

It looks like you’ve “framed” the canvases with–what–2 x 4’s behind? Whatever you did I love the mass and object-like quality it creates. Seems entirely appropriate for the wonderful textures and slab-like planes of paint, not to mention the stylized “boards” and wood-grain textures in many of the paintings.
